Full Description

The remains of an abandoned settlement at Druim Fada. The remains consist of several buildings in two 'clusters' at either end of a large walled enclosure which may or may not be contemporary, and a small roughly rectangular enclosure outside the larger to the northeast. The remains are visible in vertical aerial photography and partly overlie a area of clearance cairns and field system probably prehistoric in origin (see MHG2768). <1>
