Full Description
A group of Shieling huts at Glen Ose (Glen Ullinish), Skye. They were recorded during a walkover survey by Archaeological and Ancient Landscape Survey in 2001 in advance of the proposed Edinbane Wind Farm development.
Site K: Lying around the junction of the Allt Ruairidh and two small tributary burns are the remains of a compact group of 16 single and double cell shielings. All 16 structures survive as ring mounds with some stonework visible. Four of the double cell shielings lie on the top of large grassy tells. <1> <2>
