Full Description
A shieling hut at Glen Ose (Glen Ullinish), Skye. It was recorded during a walkover survey by Archaeological and Ancient Landscape Survey in 2001 in advance of the proposed Edinbane Wind Farm development.
Site O(a): Lying just to the north of the point where two burns meet, are the remains of a turf and stone shieling – poorly preserved, 4m diameter, single cell close to the junction. <1>
NOTE: This is the southern of the two recorded as 'Site O' in <1>.
