Full Description
A group of Shieling huts at Glen Ose (Glen Ullinish), Skye. They were recorded during a walkover survey by Archaeological and Ancient Landscape Survey in 2001 in advance of the proposed Edinbane Wind Farm development.
Site P: Spread out for about 100m along both banks of a small east-west flowing burn are the remains of 4 double and 9 single celled shielings. All are in poor condition and are now reduced to green ring mounds lying amongst tall grass and rushes. <1> <2>
