Full Description
A coin hoard was discovered in May 1854, in a small cow's horn dug up in a field at Holme Rose, Nairnshire. It consisted of 18 silver coins of the reigns of Elizabeth, James I and Charles II, with a Spanish dollar dated 1633.

There is no local knowledge of this coin hoard.
