Full Description

NC86NW 18 c. 828 683.

NC 8282 6832. A longhouse, 17m by 4m, defined by grass banks with stone protruding. A fieldwall 30m long and 5 courses high is associated and two cairns 1m in diameter and 0.5m high lie to the NE. A larger cairn (NC86NW 7) lies to the SE of the longhouse.
NC 8275 6825. A grass-covered cairn, 3m NW-SE by 1m and 0.5m high, with stone protruding.
NC 8290 6826. A rectangular stone structure 3m E-W by 2m across and at least two courses high. A wall runs to the S for about 30m.
NC 8301 6832. A longhouse, 35m N-S by 5.5m across, with walls standing 0.25m to 2m high and the gables to 4m high. There is an enclosure nearby and a stone at the S end is engraved 'HR 1872'.
NC 8296 6818. A longhouse, 20m long N-S with a middle gable standing about 3m high though walls are generally 1.5m high. A retaining wall to the E is three to five courses high.
