Abstract/Summary
A walk-over survey was undertaken at Weydale, near Thurso, Caithness to inform proposals for a wind turbine. Four features were identified of which only one, a field clearance cairn, is at risk of being affected by the development. It is recommended that this feature should be avoided during construction work but if this is not practicable, a watching brief should be undertaken by a qualified archaeologist during excavations in this area.
