MHG17329 - Barn, Black Croft

Type and Period (1)
- BARN (Post Medieval - 1560 AD to 1900 AD)
Protected Status
Full Description
Although two buildings are shown on the older edition of the 1:10000 OS map, only the nineteenth century barn remains. This was converted into a dwelling at the beginning of the twentieth century, so it is not entirely clear whether the cruck-framed cottage noted in the NMRS name should refer to the demolished building or to the barn.
