A farmstead comprising two unroofed buildings, one of which is a long building, is depicted on the 1st edition of OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xxxviii), and is also shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1962).

ND13SW 40 134 314.

At ND 1345 3143 is a small ruinous rectangular house attached to an oval enclosure. The foundations of a further rectangular building survive at ND 1341 3144 and there are a number of stone dykes in the area between here and ND13SW 38 and 39.
