Description

The Dingwall Conservation Area (central area) was first designated in 1974 by the former Ross and Cromarty County Council. The designation order was formally published in the Edinburgh Gazette on 13/12/1974. A Conservation Area Character Appraisal was carried out in 2010. This recommended that two additions, one quite large, be made to the Conservation Area. In the event these changes were not carried out.
