Description
A walkover survey of an area of a proposed crofter forestry scheme at Coirefois, Black Water, Sutherland, was carried out by C Dagg in 2002. The survey was commenced on 05.03.2002 but halted when weather conditions deteriorated. This was completed on 11.03.2002 in wintry conditions but reasonable visibility. A number of features related to prehistoric settlement and land use and to the late medieval-early post-medieval pre-clearance period. <1>
