EHG1110 - Trial trenching at proposed Morayhill Quarry Extension, Inverness

An archaeological evaluation was carried out in May 2004 prior to a proposed quarry extension. The wall footings of an L-shaped building were revealed. This building is depicted on 1st edition OS maps and is named Balnallan. No other features of archaeological significance were encountered. <1>
