Description
An evaluation was carried out in October 2005 by Alba Archaeology on the site of a proposed housing development at Slackbuie (Phase D) on the south side of Inverness. Up to 50% of the development area had previously been affected by landscaping asociated with the construction of a road. These works had not been supervised archaeologically. Eight trenches of varying lengths but all 1.5m wide were machine excavated in the unaffected area. No archaeological features, finds or deposits were encountered. <1>
