EHG139 - Watching Brief - Bridge of Wester

An archaeological watching brief was carried out at Bridge of Wester, near Wick, by the Scottish Urban Archaeological Trust on Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st April 1998. The work was occasioned by the construction of a new office building by R B Farquhar Ltd for their clients Rockwater. The work was commissioned by Highland Council Archaeology Service, who also prepared the specifications for the watching brief.A watching brief was carried out on all the machine dug trenches for ancillary works. No archaeological features were identified during this watching brief. <1>
