Description
A desk-based assessment and walkover survey was carried out by J Hooper in 2000 in advance of the proposed expansion of the wastewater treatment plant at North Head, Wick, Caithness by the North of Scotland Water Authority. At the time of the survey the majority of the field, which measured roughly 110m x 90m, lay under stubble. The field was walked in four sweeps, each 20m apart. No new archaeological features were identified within the proposal area. <1>
