Description

A trial trenching evaluation was carried out by Highland Archaeology Services in 2006 in advance of a proposed extension to Strathy Cemetery, as a condition of planning permission. Three trenches were excavated. No features or artefacts of archaeological significance, other than a single pit possibly dating to the C18, were found. There were no recommendations for further archaeological work. <1>
