Description
A detailed instrument survey was undertaken of prehistoric settlement remains surrounding three clearance cairns that had been the subject of detailed excavation earlier in 2007. The remains included a possible burnt mound, settlement and field system. The survey was conducted using a Total Station EDM and was tied in to the National Grid using existing control points. <1>
