Description

Area of development to the rear of the High Street in an area which was formerly an allotment garden. The site lies within an area seen to be part of the medieval burgh. A wtching brief was maintained not only to the required area of development but also to the overall general clearance of the site. Sand subsoil was noted to be on average 1.1 metres below the ground surface. <1>
