EHG195 - DBA and Walkover survey - Badachro River

An archaeological survey was conducted of the proposed route on the Intake Line Renewal-Badachrio Water Phase 2. Renewal works were required as part of the upgrading of the existing water supply. The work was carried out in two stages with a desk-bound survey followed by a field survey. The survey was carried out by two people on Friday 28th August, in generally dry conditions. The survey conditions were not ideal as the vegetation, particularly of bracken, was still high. Because of this dense vegetation and the active birch regeneration, it is not certain that all archaeological features were recorded. <1>
