Description
In January 1999, five evaluation trenches were excavated by S Farrell prior to a proposed housing development in the vicinity of a number of prehistoric sites at Croftcroy. In the trenches related to proposed house plots no features were found. A turf bank with ditch was cut by the access road. A watching brief was conducted as services ran close to a hut circle, but no archaeological features were revealed. <1>
