Description
Excavations at Slackbuie Avenue, Inverness, uncovered deposits associated with periodic flooding. No features or artefacts of archaeological interest were found. Three trenches were excavated on the line of a proposed access road leading to a proposed housing development. The proposed access road would cross one end of a scheduled ancient monument area, within which, further to the south, there are two cropmarks, identified from aerial photographs. <1>
