Description

As part of the conditions for granting planning consent for the development of this site for housing, archaeological trenching was required to establish the presence/absence of archaeological deposits in this area. John Wordsworth was appointed to carry out this work. The objective of this work was to establish the presence (or absence), depth, extent, quality and important of any archaeological remains. The work was carried out in dry mostly sunny conditions. <1>
