Description

A watching brief was undertaken by Highland Heritage in 2007 during the stripping of topsoil and overburden on the site of a new housing development at Bridgend Court, Dingwall. The site was found to be heavily disturbed, especially in the area where any possible archaeological remains had long been destroyed by the foundations of agricultural buildings and (more recently) by rubble dumping. No archaeological features were identified and no finds of archaeological intereset were recovered. <1>
