A watching brief was undertaken as a condition of planning consent (plan ref SU-07-092). No archaeological features or deposits pre-dating the 19th century were located. This may reflect the result of land improvement, including the removal of surface stone features, but if there were pre-crofting structures they do not now survive as archaeological remains. No further archaeological work is considered necessary at this site <1>.
