EHG2779 - Desk-based assessment - Greenbrae Water Main Renewal

Technique(s)

Organisation

Highland Archaeology Services Ltd

Date

January 2008

Description

A desk-based assessment was undertaken to identify any archaeology in danger of disturbance during the laying of new water mains around Greenbrae, Ross and Cromarty. No recorded features appear to be affected by the scheme, which mainly runs along disturbed road edges. Neolithic evidence has been found in this area in the past, however, and precautionary site visits are recommended at two points. <1>
