Description
A watching brief was carried out by Highland Archaeology Services in 2007-8 on site clearance and excavations for foundations, services and drainage at Halcro, Bower, Caithness. The site stripping and foundation trenches were done on 30 April and 1 May 2007; the drainage and soakaway were completed in March and April 2008. No archaeological finds (other than a few sherds of C19 pottery found near the site entrance) or features were identified and no further work was recommended. <1>
