An archaeological evaluation was conducted to establish as far as possible the nature and extent of any archaeology likely to be affected by the construction of a new District Centre at Dalfaber, Aviemore. Eleven trenches were excavated covering 1025 square metres, a 5.2% sample of the site. No archaeology was recorded, and the site was found to have been extensively disturbed. No further fieldwork is recommended here. <1>
