Description

A watching brief was undertaken by Jacobs Engineering UK Ltd in 2009 during ground breaking works for a new water pipeline at Achlyness. No new features of archaeological significance were discovered during the watching brief. The remains of a turf bank, identified during a previous walkover survey, were not directly impacted upon by the development. <1>
