Description
An archaeological watching brief was carried out during topsoil stripping for a new house at Borrowston, Thrumster, Caithness, in response to a planning condition. The only features identified were rubble field drains and finds comprised a few sherds of 19th/20th-century transfer decorated pottery and one sherd of Scottish sherd decorated ware. A watching brief will be maintained during stripping for the septic tank and soakaway which is to take place in 2010. <1>
