EHG3184 - Desk-based assessment - land at Drynie Farm, Dingwall North
Technique(s)
Organisation
Highland Archaeology Services Ltd
Date
Oct 2009
Description
A desk based assessment was undertaken for a proposed housing site at Drynie Farm, Tulloch, Dingwall. The site is currently agricultural land and there are no recorded archaeological features present. There is also potential for buried archaeological evidence of earlier pits and similar features and the report recommends attendance by an archaeologist during topsoil stripping to mitigate this potential. <1>
It should be noted that due to the potential for buried prehistoric remains an evaluation by trial trenching has been recommended by the HC Archaeologist. <2>
