Description

An archaeological evaluation consisting of six trial trenches was carried out by C Dagg in 2010 at the north end of Beauly within a low-lying and seasonally waterlogged improved field. The trial trenches located land drains and a field boundary dating to 19th-century agricultural improvement, with a scatter of contemporary or later finds.
