Description

Further to the excavation of a truncated prehistoric settlement site at Borrodale, the monitoring of topsoil stripping revealed forty-eight possible features. During the subsequent excavation, nine features were investigated as having archaeological potential. A number of pits were recorded. <1> A post-excavation archive report was produced, combining work from West and East Borrodale. <2> The excavation assemblage from the 2007 work was submitted to Treasure Trove (TT 30/11) and allocated to the NMS. They are listed under Acc. No. 2010.11. <3> <4> <5>
