Description

An area to the E of Borrodale Burn was monitored during topsoil stripping, after previous work had recorded a number of poorly defined features. Six features were subsequently invesitgated in excavations. Four possible pits, a lintelled drain and a shallow feature were recorded. <1> A post-excavation archive report was produced, combining work from West and East Borrodale. <2> The excavation assemblage from the 2007 work was submitted to Treasure Trove (TT 30/11) and allocated to the NMS. They are listed under Acc. No. 2010.11. <3> <4> <5>
