Description

Excavation of a trench 5.5m by 1m, over the 'wharf' feature, Site 107, first recorded by NOSAS as part of their ongoing programme of fieldwork at Loch Hourn. The aim of this excavation was to explore the exact role of this wharf and whether it was part of a herring fishing station. Two soil samples were taken for analysis. <1>
