Description

Headland Archaeology Ltd was commissioned by Falck Renewables Ltd to carry out a programme of archaeological works in advance of and during construction of the extension to Kilbraur Wind Farm, Strath Brora, Highland. The work followed a specification approved by Highland Council Planning and Development Service (Archaeology Unit). The groundworks for Turbines 1, 2 and 4 and their associated access tracks (Illus 2) were archaeologically monitored at all times at a ratio of 1 machine to 1 archaeologist. No archaeological features were identified. <1>
