EHG3525 - Archaeological evaluation of Applecross paths

An archaeological evaluation was conducted of the location of three new sections of path and resurfacing on one existing path. The aim of the evaluation was to identify archaeological features or areas of archaeological sensitivity on or adjacent to the paths which may be adversely affected by the work and to propose remedial action where necessary. The work also aimed to identify archaeological or historic sites in the area with potential for presentation and interpretation. The report includes observations on several HER sites. <1>
