Description
An archaeological trial trenching evaluation was undertaken at the site of a proposed housing development on Jubilee Drive, Tain. Approximately half of the site being evaluated for the presence of archaeological remains. The archaeological features uncovered attested to a long history of farming of the site: numerous field drains and plough marks were uncovered in additional to five scattered finds and one ditch of unknown use. <1>
