Description
An ongoing archaeological watching brief was undertaken during the construction of towers and temporary haul roads as part of the major development of the electricity substation and associated infrastruture at Knocknagael, Inverness. The excavation of three test pits was monitored in April 2010. In each case the subsoil was a dark brown/orange loam with sub-angular stone inclusions. There were no features or finds of archaeological significance. <1>
