Description
An archaeological fieldwalking survey was organised by Historylinks Museum in collaboration with members of Dornoch Heritage Society and Primary Six pupils from Dornoch Primary School. The field was divided into 2 metre transects which were walked by three groups of participants, covering two thirds of the field in total. A total of 40 bags of finds were collected, including some worked lithics and medieval pottery. <1>
The finds catalogue and photographs have been deposited with the HER and are currently held on CD at Highland Council HQ. <2>
