Description
An ongoing archaeological watching brief was undertaken during the construction of towers and temporary haul roads as part of the major development of the electricity substation and associated infrastruture at Knocknagael, Inverness. Groundworks for Tower 402R comprised a large trench measuring approximately 19m by 22m to accommodated four pylon legs. No features or finds of archaeological significance were observed. <1>
