EHG3654 - Watching brief, 29-30 Borve, Isle of Skye
Technique(s)
Organisation
West Coast Archaeological Services
Date
August 2011
Description
A watching brief took place during works in advance of construction of a new house, including the access road, proposed services, works compounds, borrow pits and other ancillary works. Signficant areas of the sites were found to have been heavily disturbed and truncated in the recent past. Surprisingly, given the proximity of a suspected souterrain, no archaeological features or finds were recorded. <1><2>
