Description
A watching brief took place during topsoil stripping for an access track to allow geotechnical investigations on land to the east of Camore Wood, Dornoch. A previous desk-based assessment and walkover survey (see EHG4427) had identified areas of archaeological potential within the site and the course of the track was designed to avoid these. No archaeological remains were encountered during the watching brief. <1> <2>
