Description
A pre-afforestation survey was carried out by Wordswoth Archaeological Services in 1990 at North Dalchork Forest. The area had previously been surveyed by students from Edinburgh University's Department of Archaeology under the guidance of Roger Mercer in 1978. The survey was undertaken at the suggestion of Forestry Commission staff, as they already knew of some other sites in the area not previously recorded. <1>
