EHG3756 - Walkover Survey - Ballintean, Glenfeshie

An area at Ballintean, Glen Feshie, was surveyed in a walkover survey, and through a study of maps and documentary evidence, by D Taylor prior to proposed plantation by the Alvie Estate. An area of ruined settlement was recorded. In the event only two structures lay within the plantation zone and the plantation would allow a substantial area of open ground around these structures, so that it would not affect them in any way. Most of the settlement lay on the other side of a boundary fence and would not be affected in any way by the proposals. Access to the site would remain exactly as it is at present. <1>
