Description
A DBA and walk-over survey were undertaken by Highland Archaeology Services in 2013 to mitigate potential impacts on the cultural heritage from construction of a kart track at land 50m west of Batching Plant, Knockgranish, Aviemore. The wooded areas by the road were identified as being of extremely low archaeological potential and were not included in the full walk-over survey. Eleven features, mostly relating to the site of a known deserted township, were identified. <1>
