Date

Aug 2013

Description

A walkover survey was carried out by Highland Archaeology Services in 2014 ahead of a proposed run-of-river hydro scheme at Lochrosque, Achnasheen, Ross-shire. Ten features of possible cultural heritage significance were identified during the survey. The proposed penstock line and access track appeared to be free of features along much of their length, but there were some areas which may require further attention and some micro-siting might be indicated. Relocation of the secondary borrow pit might also be advisable if possible. <1>
