EHG4298 - DBA and walkover survey - proposed Corriemoillie Wind Farm

A DBA and walkover survey was carried out by RPS for EON in August 2009 in advance of a wind farm development project at Corriemoillie Forest, Contin. There were no SAMs, LBs, Conservation Areas or sites recorded in the inventory of gardens and designed landscapes within the application area. Two sites listed on the Highland HER were within the area, including a group of two shieling huts and an enclosure. Approximately 22 sites were found within 1.5km of the development area, and a further 8 were found within 3km - although none of these were listed sites. <1> The original planning application was withdrawn and subsequently resubmitted. The access track was relocated from the south to the north of the site to share the existing access track for the neighbouring Lochluichart wind farm to the west. No additional survey work was undertaken. <2>
