Description
A DBA and walkover survey was carried out by GUARD Archaeology Ltd in July 2011 in advance of a proposed windfarm development at Sallachy, Sutherland. Whilst no previously unrecorded archaeological features were uncovered it was felt that it was highly likely that there may be archaeology in the area. It was recommended that any ground-breaking work relating to the construction of the wind farm should be closely monitored by qualified archaeologists. <1>
