Description

A desk based assessment was carried out as part of an environmental statement and environmental impact assessment by Terence O'Rourke prior to Februrary 2010 in advance of a proposed wind farm development near Achavanich, Latheron, Caithness. Due to the predicted high level of impact that the development would have on numerous designated, listed and scheduled sites in the region, it was recommended that the development did not progress. <1>
