EHG4390 - DBA and walkover survey - Kilbraur Wind Farm, On Site Borrow Pit extension
Technique(s)
Organisation
Headland Archaeology Ltd
Date
Jan 2007
Description
A DBA and walkover survey was carried out by Headland Archaeology in January 2007 in advance of an extension to a borrow pit on site at Kilbraur Wind Farm, north of Golspie. Three sites were identified within the immediate vicinity of the proposed area; a possible burnt mound, and two adjacent groups of hut circles and clearance cairns. The scheme of extending the borrow pit would cause the loss of a possieel clearance cairn. <1>
